Yup, that's the entire cost of my laser treatment, which I went for today. The process was surprisingly quite fast, took only around 20 minutes. First they applied this cream all around my eyes to numb the area....it took about 30 minutes for it to take effect. But quite effective leh, my eyelids felt like there was this big stack of cotton wool pressed on them...no sensation at all when the lady was removing the cream.

Then it was off to Dr Yuen at her laser room. Felt a bit jittery then...all thanks to my facial therapist lor. I went for facial yesterday and had to inform her of my treatment the next day to give her some warning not to do anything too invasive or drastic to my face lah. She then asked me how many treatments I was going, and I replied one lah. Lagi best, she then said "Wah, all lumps at one shot! It'll be painful leh." Hmmm...thanks lor.

Actually, the treatment felt like electric sparks on my eye area, some places were more painful but altogether still quite bearable. I could detect this familiar burning smell during the process, very much like my lasik surgery 4 years ago. Due to the numbing cream still taking effect on my eye area, the pain didn't really set in till about 10 minutes after I left the clinic. And altogether, there were more than 10 laser 'wounds' on my face, and even worse hor, the bigger ones were still bleeding. The result.....I looked like a monster lor. Quite SCARY!! Luckily I brought sunglasses, so could still meet people.

Now, nearly 8 hours after the treatment, some of the wounds have stopped bleeding and the pain had subsided quite substantially. I think the most unbearable part was when I had to bathe. Woah man...it was stinging like bloody hell! But no choice lah. Beauty REALLY comes at a price.

I'm still scared at how speedy I can recover from the wounds. Now I really cannot step out of the house without sunglasses. Don't dare to look at the mirror too.
