Tagged: Weird Stuffs
Hey I'm baack! None the worst, so no need to worry about me kay... =) Truly appreciate all the concern and advice. Made me realise that I'm still loved and cherished by those around me. Thank You!
Had no idea I got tagged by Snowystars! So paiseh, took such a long time to reply to realise that. This one's about weird things about myself (so many abouts). Gosh. Here goes...
Rules: Each player of this game starts out by giving 6 weird things about themselves. People who get tagged need to write in a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state the rules clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. After you do that, leave them each a comment letting them know you tagged them and to read your blog!
1) I'm a neat freak (is that considered weird?). So neat that I sometimes drive my sister nuts. I cannot bear to see anything which are crooked, untidy, spilled, askew, etc etc. My sister is the opposite of me, so she bears the brunt of my complaints and nagging at home. I sometimes get so bothered that I do the tidying up for her. Its much faster this way. Interestingly, I realised that most of my close friends are the opposite of me except for a meagre few like Corinni who's my ex-room mate (thank god!) and Bluesky.
2) I love PORK, in any way of cooking style. I can eat it everyday, if not for the fact that its not exactly the most healthiest meat around. Fried/steamed/stewed/deep-fried/etc. My absolute favourite? Sweet and sour pork, plus the KONG BAK PAU!!
3) Unless I'm absolutely tired, I cannot get to sleep even with the slightest sound around me. Clocks/watches ticking too loudly, people snoring, air-con vent too loud, fan blades moving too fast, closed door moving with the breeze, etc. I bring ear plugs whenever I'm overseas or in chalets. Cos sometimes, my travel companions SNORE!!! And you know what brand of watches tick the loudest? SWATCH!!! I stopped buying them after I had this problem. Or I just shove them inside my drawers when I go to bed.
4) I get 'high' smelling those newly constructed buildings and wooden structures. Something in those smells simply make me happy. I think this is actually quite dangerous. Haha. New leather (especially those on sofas) also excite me...
5) I can watch reruns of my favourite show so frequently, that I will be able to remember practically the entire script of all the actors and actresses in the show, especially those in my favourite scenes. I used to go absolutely bonkers over Stephen Chow's movies, especially his early classics. Nowadays with the original Cantonese versions available in VCDs, nothing can stop me.
6) I have this inane phobia of microwave ovens exploding. Whenever I use it in my office pantry (which I try NOT to), I always imagine this situation that the evil thing will just explode and blow my face to bits. Which is why, once I switch on the microwave oven, I will stand near the pantry door, far far away from the equipment. This is such that if it ever explodes, I can run out of the room asap. I swear if I ever have my own home, that thing will never exist in it.
Okie, that's the 6 weird things about me. The list is of course not exhaustive. It never will. Don't wanna tag anyone in particular too, so anyone who reads this and has a blog, go ahead and write something! =)
