Thanks for the warm welcome!!

Hey...I feel so happy getting all the welcome messages in my previous entry. Thanks people! I know I'm supposed to show photos soon lah, but can still wait a while more? Me still arranging them, and also trying to recollect the 'stories' and information behind each photo. Didn't even know I took so many of them leh...after erasing quite a few not so good ones, I'm still left with over 200 photos!! That's 太多太多了!! Fortunately I did not spend all the Euros which I changed for trip...at least now can use some of the remainder to pay for the photo developing...aiyoh!

I've just recently finished the accumulated stuffs in my office, which were left undone while I was away. So you can guess how busy I was lah. Plus after having not touch my dizi for 2 entire weeks, it felt as if I was back to square one, which is pretty scary. But Andy said that was normal, especially since my basics weren't too solid to begin with. And then for the previous lesson, he upped my practice routines such that now, my almost-daily practice takes about one and a half hour to finish. I think I work out more during one practice, as compared to my aerobics lesson leh. After each practice, my triceps, arms and shoulders are always aching away. But I must say the increased number of routines help quite a bit in improving my 丹田 power..although I find it such a drag to go through the entire routine everyday. Its really becoming quite a chore to practice my dizi, but I remembered it was also like that when I was practising my piano eons ago lah. My mom had to nag and nag and nag, before I go practice my tunes daily. I remembered I used to hate lessons then. Its REALLY HATE!! But now, guess I'm reaping the benefits lah, cos a lot of my friends commented that they would have loved to know how to play the piano. Hah....they obviously did not see the 'hard work' I put in when young, while they were enjoying their innocent childhoods (and me slogging on the piano). Har!

Attended yet another of Valerie's yummy baking class last Sunday. This time, I was literally blown away by her finished products....DURIAN PUFFS AND SWISS ROLLS!!! The puffs turned out really really good!! I'm not kidding when I say its comparable to Angie's Choice standards (their durian rolls). Of course, that was my teacher's 功劳 lar...not too sure if I'll be able to produce the same result. But I'll soon know the answer to that, cos my cousin Sirfercauress has recently called for a F9 gathering next Sunday and I proposed making durian puffs for the tea break. Now I'm a bit scared cos what if they turn out really really lousy, like my Tiramisu?? I think worst come worst, I'll buy the puffs from some nearby bakery...HAHA!! Wish me luck ok? Hee..

Die...now I worry I cannot meet people's expectations...heh heh.

If the puffs turn out unusually delicious, then you can be sure I bought them from somewhere else...
