On the way to SCANDINAVIA!!

I swear I shall never ever attend another NATAS fair on a Saturday morning/afternoon / night/whatever!! My travel mate, Sam (female lar) and I had PURPOSELY arranged to meet each other at City Hall around 0930am, so that we could have a leisurely stroll to the fair at Suntec. Upon reaching there at 0955pm, both of us were absolutely astonished (you should have seen our jaws drop!) at the sight of the 4 LONG LONG queues outside the hall, waiting to buy the tickets! Thought we were already quite early liao.....Singaporeans are really KIASU!!! But fortunately, the hall was really big, so there wasn't so much jostling and shoving in the fair. And the the charging of the entrance fee also helped to greatly reduce the number of visitors (yar...keep out all those onlookers!!)

As we had already done our homework (so proud of ourselves!) before the fair, and hence had narrowed our search to the Scandinavian packages from namely SA and Universal, we were able to come to a decision rather quickly during the fair. We signed up eventually with Universal (the tour route and price were better) and made our deposit there and then. Wah....got so many free gifts leh! A toiletries bag (from the insurance agency where we bought our travel insurance for this trip. Yar, we are that kiasu), a bag from Visa and get this......A COOL RED CABIN BAG FROM UOB!!! Nifty huh?? The only drawback? I had to lug the cabin bag around with me as we did some shopping at Marina Square after we left the fair. But quite fun lar, cos I ended up dumping all the stuffs I bought into the cabin bag....so much easier than carrying all the plastic bags. Haha!

Heh heh....if all things go well....if enough people signed up for the package....if the weather over there doesn't deviate too much from the norm (no snow PLEASE!!).....we WILL be flying off to Scandinavia in this coming July!! So exciting!

I've already started to plan what wardrobe to bring liao..... =)

The package alone cost $3999. With the taxes blah blah, and the tips for the guide, it all came to a grand total of $4400 plus.

I'm gonna be SO broke after the trip!

What about you? Any vacation plans with bf? =)
