Got this from Miss Ah Yat....forgot if it happened to her maid, or her friend's maid or her XXX's maid...but suffice to say, its all based on an actual event.

(For convenience, let's just pretend its Miss Ah Yat's maid)

It was her maid first Sunday off, and my colleague Miss Ah Yat kindly gave her the permission to go out (and probably to spend the day at Lucky Plaza pinicking away with her 同乡们). However, since it was her maid's first time out, she had a little bit of trouble getting back home. All she knew was that her boss resided at Serangoon Gardens, which was what she told the cab driver lah. However, upon reaching the not-so-small community of Serangoon Gardens, Miss AY's maid was at a loss as to what the specific address of her employer was. All she could tell the driver was "Its near to Auntie Lucy! Its near to Auntie Lucy!!"

The cab driver must have been thinking "How the hell I know where your Auntie Lucy stay meh?" After going for a few rounds with little success, Miss AY's maid finally gave a scream of delight, pointing to a sign and shouting "That's Auntie Lucy!!"

So ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, can you guess what the world she was referring to as Auntie Lucy?

It was none other than our Singapore's very own.......very uniquely Singapore....
