Shall we dance?
Anyone keen to take up ballroom dancing lessons with moi?? Guy or lady also can…..=)
As my choir practices will soon be reduced to only once a week, I now have one day free to take up all sorts of
The good thing about learning dancing…is that THERE’S NO HOMEWORK OR PRACTICE TO DO AT HOME!!!! And maybe can even get some exercise done at the same time. Cool right?
So if anyone’s interested, leave me a message or email can? The beginner course at Shawn & Gladys starts 23 Feb (7-8pm). For the Sunny Low one, I’ve got to call and ask. But prices at both studios are quite similar. S&G is located at Bras Basah Complex, while Sunny Low is located at The Riverwalk (near Liang Court). Actually I’m real ok with going alone one lar…but just thought that it would be nice to have someone to learn together with….for a change.
Oh yes, another option which I’m also considering is tap dance. If anyone’s keen can also inform me hor. Cos I took up the beginner course a couple of years back, and am interested in continuing it (dont want to waste the shoes mah). It’s a Tuesday affair at the Jitterbugs dance studio (Millenia Walk). Of course it'll be EITHER ballroom dancing OR tap dance lah...cannot possibly do both...I'm not that free yet.
Thanks har, everyone. And Happy CNY Holidays! 祝大家万事如意, 事事顺心, 恭喜恭喜!

I'd dun mind taking up the lesson but the timing (23 Feb) kinda clashes with my reservist in-camp (28 Feb to 7 Mar),meaning I'd miss one session(?),that's for S&G.

Batman - Never know that you are into dancing. Thought you are more into pole dancing. :D
Anyway, do enjoy yourself if you take up the course.

my advice is to get a male partner to learn with you. it is very confusing to have another lady partner cos u have to take turns to learn both the male & female steps. i learn before from S&G with another lady friend but did not enjoy it cos of the confusion. just my two cents worth =)

Batman: I checked with with studios...and think will go with S&G as its more accessible lar. The guy at S&G said that there'll be no make up lessons if we ever miss any class, but recap done at the beginning of every class. If you're confortable with that, then you join me lar! =) Oh yar, the drawback is that we must get dancing shoes...its either that or we dance bare footed. Cos they just change their flooring. Guy's shoes cost a minimum of $80.
Snowystars: So are you expert now at ballroom dancing? =)

no lah .. not expert in ballroom dancing. went to learn their social dance (cha cha, rock & roll) before. yeah, the drawback is that they make u buy dancing shoe or dance barefoot. i don't want to buy the shoe cos its abit expensive and never know whether i will continue or not .. but one alternative is to wear socks to dance as this will make turning easier. barefoot very difficult to turn ... :0)

I'm agreeable with the arrangement so yeah, onz loh.But I'd do it barefoot, dont see the point in buying something ex then not putting it to use often.
