Yesterday was good....today is BAD (referring to my 遭遇s). While I was happily going about my baking this morning, I realised (to my annoyance) that there was a small puddle of water lying somewhere near the kitchen sink. At first, I though it was my sis's fault, cos she had just bathe and probably somehow had managed to splash water outside the bathroom. So I just wiped it with the floor mat and continued with my cookies.

Half an hour, I found the puddle forming again at the same spot, except now it was even worse. The puddle was much bigger, and I began to fear that the reason could be that a water pipe had broke. This is not good....especially when I'm alone in the house. Never dealt with this before leh. But when I looked through all the pipes underneath the kitchen sink, I couldn't find one which was leaking water! All seemed intact and ok to me. But whenever I started washing stuffs at the sink, puddles of water would start forming from nowhere. And best of all, it looked like the water was rising up from the gaps between the kitchen tiles! Very bizarre! Within an hour, my kitchen had become a mini pond....serious! No matter how much I tried to wipe the water, more would appear....the flow was really quite unstoppable.

When my mum returned a couple of hours later and declared even she did not know the reason for it, that was when I knew this is pretty serious! Usually, my mum would be able to repair almost anything (even better than my father). So now, we are still taking turns to wipe the water and waiting for the plumber to come. It seriously look pretty scary......
