Such a busy busy week....but HAPPY!
Work has been rather rushed and complicated for the last couple of days. Suddenly, it seemed like everyone knows I'll be on leave soon, and so is giving me lots of additional duties (aka stuffs which are usually not done by me) to complete. And even better, there has been some recent circumstances where I felt I really needed my boss's guidance and instructions. But so unfortunately, she's on leave and I don't feel my colleague, who is supposedly the one in-charge now, can give me the appropriate advice and power to back my suggestions. Sigh.....I MISS MY BOSS!!! I really do!!! It does feel rather difficult at times to have to make certain decisions based entirely on my own inexperienced opinions.....I'm always quite afraid that I'll make the wrong move. Scary huh?
On a happier note, my dizi lessons are finally making some PROGRESS!!!! YAY!!! Andy actually praised me leh!!! Never before okay!! His exact words were "You've been practising huh? Can hear the improvement on the dizi now. Inspired by the performance issit?" Haha.....actually not really lah. But still so HAPPY!!! And he finally changed the piece of scotch tape (meant for new players) to the 笛膜 on my dizi. FINALLY!!! Now my dizi sounds so much brighter and clearer...like REAL dizi music! And hor, he also (finally!) gave me a new piece to play liao...called
姑苏行..another traditional flute piece lar....but much much tougher than 紫竹调 (which all my family members can memorise already). Now, with the 笛膜 in place, the dizi is actually even more difficult to play...cos more air is required to sound the instrument and must definitely use the 丹田呼吸法 now. Anything else is incorrect and insufficent. Very very cheem....but at least, its some progress lah....and most importantly, my money has not been wasted lar..heh heh
I'm still happily basking in my 师傅's praises.....haha....
Oh yes...and MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE OUT THERE!!! Its time to celebrate!!!!

Li'er: I think I have to wait long long long (to the power of 100) before I have the 资格 to perform ANYWHERE....still at the very beginner stage.. =)
