Schnappi The Little Crocodile

Remembered the other time when I mentioned Yes933 had introduced the cute mongolian song 吉祥三宝? These few days, they've added another ultra-kawaii song (the one you are listening to now) to their kiddy song list.....haha...machem they are becoming Singapore first children radio station...

But this song is reaaaallllllliiiii VERY VERY CUTE, don't you think!!!! I fell in love with the adorable voice the first time I heard it. The singer is Joy Gruttmann, a 4 years old German girl, and she's singing about the story of this baby crocodile Schnappi, who lives in Egypt with his mommy. Joy's aunt had originally recorded her niece's singing and posted it up on the Internet as a joke. However, it became so popular that it clinched the Best Download of the year award in Germany and also topped the music charts in many other countries! Amazing, isn't it? The lyrics translation as follows:

yeah i heard this song over 933 too .. they usually played this song in the afternoon or evening time. this song is cute yeah. initially i thought its a french song!

Never heard b4 also. But it's realli a very cute song. Makes U wan to listen over n over agin. I am now keeping your blog open so that I can listen to this song while surfing the net :)
