I had my first foot reflexology session when the visually handicapped came to my office to offer the service at a reduced price. That was like almost 2 years ago...but I'll never forget the experience..and I doubt my colleagues will too. ITS SO FREAKING PAINFUL!!!!! I tell you har...my masseuse's hands hor.... they are unbelievably powerful ok!!! But of course lah, they all say it hurts because some part of my internal organs are not in the best condition and eventually, the pain will go off after a couple more sessions.

Yar, like I believe.

2 years later 的前天, I decided to give it another shot, especially since this time I had Spy P for company. If pain, at least got someone else to suffer with me...haha. This time, I patronised the somewhat newly opened Good Earth Foot Spa at Junction 8. We had actually wanted to try My Foot.com located at Centrepoint, where Andrea De Cruz reportedly like its service so much that she became one of the shareholders. But I did not find the ambience in the shop much to my liking. A bit too dark and dingy......didn't feel too comfortable getting my feet massaged there....yar...I'm that 挑剔. Interior atmosphere very important leh....as crucial as the service itself, I would say.

So anyway, we went into Good Earth and voila....I was riiight!!! The interior was so much more spacious and neater than My Foot. A pity I couldn't get a female masseuse to serve me lah...but still not a terribly big issue to me. When the session started, I reiterated to my masseur that I cannot tahan pain that well. His reply was "不会痛的啦 我们的按摩是属于舒服的, 放心".

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. I must be crazy to believe you lor.

It was still very painful ok! The pain level nearly reached the one I experienced 2 years ago....but I must say I bore it quite well. Cos Spy P could not even tell I was suffering inside.....on the surface, it seemed like I was just browsing through the magazines leisurely. MY FOOT AH!!! I nearly went crazy......aiyoh.....can die one leh.

Strangely, Spy P kena a masseur who was quite young and bengish...and she claimed it did not even hurt at all. Either her threshold of pain is better than me, or that her masseur is really quite lousy lah. So P, please do give my masseur a try the next time you go. If you still don't feel pain at all, then I have absolutely nothing to say to you, except 我真的服了你!!!
