Been facing lots of 改变 the past couple of days....

1) Due to my division's greater need for manpower, more new officers will be coming to join us soon next year. Actually, I'm all for the idea of more colleagues in my office....hehe...more people to share my workload mah.. but this time, to accomodate the increasing numbers, I'm gonna need to share my room with 2 other people (now having my own room....v.v.v.SHIOK!!). So been having some mini construction going on in my room, building more cubicles and moving cupboards here and there....no time to do proper work at all....sigh....can imagine all the work piling up.....SCARY!!!

2) Last week's Christmas carolling at Teddy's workplace was nice. We've been carolling at his office almost every year since the formation of my choir....so we really appreciate their annual invitation and also practise very very hard for it. Cannot let down one of our ardent supporters mah. Its very uplifting to sing in front of a appreciative audience, and that's exactly what Teddy's colleagues are like....sweet. Though we only had 5 songs this year, I hope Teddy, Mydaemon and the rest of the officers had enjoyed it, as much as we had enjoyed practising and performing it.

Oh yar, talking about changes....dunno why, during the recent carolling sessions, I'm always been put into the alto section one. Very sad, cos I very very much prefer to sing with the sopranos, which I feel my voice is more suitable for lah. But being in the alto section is also not too bad, cos their singing parts are usually much more challenging than the sopranos, who mostly sing the melodies. My altos form the majority of the auntie population in the choir, so you can imagine what topics they usually chat about lar. V.V.V.V. R(A) topics okay!!! Cannot tahan them sometimes....but they are also very hardworking members, cos as I've mentioned, they have to sing the counter-melodies most of the time, and as these 'melodies' are quite tough (even I, who have some music background finds it difficult at times), all of them are always readily armed with their tape recorders...so that they can record their parts and practise at home. So paiseh, cos even I'm not always that diligent...both as the pianist and the alto/soprano...heh heh

3) Been shopping A LOT last week...so many sales around!!! Lots of wardrobe changes for me....and plus, went to get my hair coloured at Salon #1. At first, I thought just normal base colour and highlight will do lah. But the stylist there, a quite beng-ish guy, persuaded me to do some dramatic colour change and so I ended up spending 4 solid hours there. But the result was extremely satisfactory...and so dirt CHEAP somemore!! I had bleaching, dyeing, highlighting and treatment for only $65!! They do not even charge extra for Christmas!!! Wah lau...good deal! So I must recommend recommend a bit lar....and fyi, I also do my regular haircuts there....the stylists are quite good. The only drawback is that, the salon is so popular that I once had to wait more than 1 hour for my haircut. But that's on a weekend, so I suggest if anyone wants to try, go on a weekday!! And interestingly, they do not take phone appointments. You just pop by there and ask for the stylist you want. And she/he will then tell you how long you've got to wait. Very odd arrangement, but its like that one.

4) Have finally started my 2nd aerobics class, and this time its for my GUTS members. The first lesson was memorable (to say the least), cos I took a freaking 2 HOURS to finish the lesson!!!! And I've got Spy P to thank for lar. Miss Chee said her muscle aches only ended 4 days after the lesson. This is super 夸张 lor. But both of them were still rather encouraged by the effect and promised they will continue with it. I had the 2nd lesson with them last sat, and this time round, both Miss Chee and Corinni were quite ok with the pace and level of difficulty. Now there's only ET who had not attended my workout yet....and we are all waiting for you leh, Ah Mah. I so hope one day, my class room will have all 4 students with me.....now it seems like by default, its only 2. Half attendance....not good leh.....I have to repeat all my instructions again whenever a new student attends my lesson....xianzzzzz.....
