Ladies night out

Its been really quite a long while since I had a gathering with my GUTS members...too long, I would say. As MF's husband (eh Miss Chee, if you don't like this nickname, pls create one for yourself hor...I'm too lazy to think..hehe..all the rest got their own nicks liao) was away on a trip, we had a overnight stay at her place last night (except for Bluesky who preferred to go home and sleep on her own comfy bed). Yesterday's gathering was held mainly to celebrate the belated birthdays of MF and moi lah. But dunno why, I somehow got psychoed by the rest to fork out $40 to buy Taboo, so we could all play during the night. I thought birthday girl 最大 one? Why still I do the paying har?

But anyways, the game was absolutely A HOOT!!!! At first we all did badly lah, cos not used to the game format yet. But soon everyone got quite warmed up and things started to get realllllliiiiii fun! My team started out losing real badly (v.v.v.v.badly in fact), cos we were always so unlucky to get those words which were either not commonly used in Sg, or were really really profound ones. Eg. slug, tabloids, etc etc.....and ok lar, we were also not as zai as Sister P, ET and MF. Haha. But very luckily we got Sister P as our spy, cos she helped us gain quite a couple of free points, when she accidentally (or purposely?) spoke the forbidden words on the cards. So thank you hor, Miss P for your GREAT help! It was greatly appreciated. And our team persevered till at the end of the game, we actually managed to 打成平手!! So proud of ourselves! Well done, Bluesky and Corinni!!! =)

And the words which will never look the same to me again after yesterday's game, are

4) MAILING LIST
5) AUSTIN POWERS
6) DANNY DEVITO
Can only remember these few. Ladies, you wanna add on to the list? =)

wah... u still got energy to write blog on Sat night? I was completely burnt out.

Anyway that was a very good game of Taboo. We were apprehensive of our "Ang Mo" abilities initially. But surprisingly we were able to describe the words with interesting results. It's a game of strategy as well, since our opponents managed to sneak a spy into our midst and do quite a fair bit of espionage work (right, Spy P?).

Looking forward to Pictionary next!

This is Sister P defending for herself over the accusation of me being a spy. :)
Actually hor sister P has no intention of being a spy one. U see this becos sister P's ang moh oni private limited n hor not very "powderful" lah. But overall the game was still quite fun lah.
Oh nearly forgotten..sister P wants to take the chance to thks Luna Esa for the free tics and hor remeber to chio me if got more lobangs.

Luna Esa, according to my limited knowledge, Esa stands for "one" or "solely" in Malay. Luna is often used to represent "Moon"?

So are you the "only Moon"? or "Moon only"?

Eh Ah Mah, please don't read too much in my nick lah! I definitely DID NOT consult any dictionary, Malay or other language, before I set this nick leh! It was just entirely out of my imagination...HAHA

I prefer Sister P to be called Stupid558. I think that is more 'Her'. Sister P sounds like some nun....
