Weddings, weddings, weddings.

Have been attending quite a number of wedding dinners recently (actually only 2 lah, but 够了够了!). This evening was my cousin's, and he had it at the old WesXXX SXXXXXX hotel. Other than the sword ceremony (cos he is a senior officer in the Police Force) - which I thought was quite yaya papaya, the entire event wasn't that much different from all the rest which I attended before. Fortunately, I had the great company of my F9 cousins gang to spice things up quite a bit, so we spent most of the evening laughing at one another's stupid jokes and commenting on the not-so-favourable service at the ballroom (must ask for more vouchers liao!!)

Anyway, the other thing that happened, was the attempt of my aunt (the groom's mother) to introduce one of her nephews to me during the dinner. In the past right, I would have flatly refused the offer and even grimaced at the thought of such an act (拜托,太老土了吧!). But today, I actually found myself willingly agreeing to my aunt's request, without even seeing how the nephew looked like. But later, I realised like a bit buay guam leh...also dunno why. And my mum also like didn't really like the guy (HAH!)...so nothing came out of it lah, at the end.

The only interesting thing is that, I marvelled at how my attitude towards finding a partner can change so drastically within such a short time. Now looking back, I cannot even remember what caused this enormous 180 degrees change. Strange right? But since I'm here now, might as well make full use of this energy to do more dating. Don't waste mah...
