Being the ever big fan of JK Rowling's HP books, I made a reservation for the 6th installment a month before the release date, and finished reading it in 2 days. This was after 2 years of long wait, and 1 not-so-impressive 5th book. This HHBP is soooooo much much better than the previous one!!! No doubt about it!

However, I still very much miss the more light hearted and childish moments in the first 3 HP books. From the 4th book onwards, EVERYTHING looks so dark and depressing. I know that's 难免lar, cos Harry is fast growing into a teen and is also more able to grasp the full impact of Lord Voldermort's return. I just wish that there needn't be someone dying at the end of each book. Sirius's death was bad enough, but Dumbledore??? I just couldn't take it.....he's so important to the book...how can he die? Its like watching 洪七公 (correct?) die in 射雕英雄传...he's so invincible and jolly...how can just die like that? But anyway, I found this website through XiaXue's blog, whose url reads Dumbledoreisnotdead.com ...and it gives more than a dozen reasons to explain why Dumbledore is not really dead. They even can give quotes from the latest book to justify their comments. COOL!!! I totally love this website!

And you know who my favourite characters are in the book? Not our dear Mr.Potter, or Ron, and certainly not Hermione....but the Weasley twins!!! They are so FARNNY!!! If there's any things worth repeating from the HP books, its all the conversations that came out of the Twins' mouths....cos they can be so suaning...and unpredictable! It makes me suddenly yearn to have brothers like them....life would certainly not be the same boy!
