This morning, the first email that greeted me in office was one sent by my good pal, Sher, announcing that her bf (now fiance already) had just proposed to her and it was done in the most romantic way ever! I don't remember the exact details, but I recollect reading about how her fiance rented a yacht and managed to hide his intentions right up to the crucial moment! I'm so impressed (and so was Sher, who always claimed her bf 不够浪漫).

After the yacht started sailing out to the sea, Sher's fiance (J) then presented her with this music box which she had previously commented that she liked. Inside the box, Sher found small notes containing very romantic messages reliving all the happy times they had together. Eventually, it led to the final message, where J then popped THE question, together with a 0.49 carat (big leh!) diamond engagement ring. How cool is that? Romantic sia? Guess J must have been saving up all his 浪漫 gestures for this important moment eh? He sure proved you wrong this time, my friend!

I could really tell how ecstatic and 幸福 Sher must be feeling now (not difficult to imagine, after reading her email). Would really like to take this opportunity to convey my best wishes to you and J, and I hope both of you will have a great time embarking on this life journey together, creating new happy memories and experiences. 恭喜恭喜, 再恭喜!! Remember to invite me to your wedding har?? *tsk tsk...so thick skinned*

Right now, I am sooooo feeling like Rachel in Friends, in the episode where Chandler just proposed to Monica. I am 90% happy for Sher, and ooooonly 10% envious. Ooooonly.
