Its been quite busy the last couple of weeks following my previous blog entry. Work was piling up, and with my colleague/partner going off on her exam leave for the following 2 weeks, I think things are going to get even more tougher. But strangely, its times like these that make me feel like a more useful and 能干 worker, and which further gives me more reasons to look forward to each day.

Sigh....the annual promotion exercise is here again, and it seemed like very few fellow colleagues are being promoted this year. I myself kena a counselling session from the big boss for not getting a promotion. Its weird lah, hearing my boss trying his utmost to console me, and I was like, trying my best to not look bothered, as well as, reassuring him that I'm really ok, and I won't go and kill myself because of this. I'm going into my 6th year in this job soon, but I do understand that promotion is something 可欲不可求的. As long as I get some pay increment per year, I'm happy...serious.

My sister had her birthday party yesterday, and by gosh, I swear I ain't going to have such a thing ever in the future...ok...at least in the near future. Its a crazy project, with so many things to buy, cook, get, take, borrow, beg, etc etc. Tempers flared quite a bit yesterday, mostly between my sis and me lah. But at the end of the day, its good that she enjoyed herself, not to mention the huge mountain of gifts she received. Heh heh, I spotted quite a number of items in the mountain which also quite suit my tastes.....goody goody. Can start borrowing soon. =D

Oh yes, another big event coming up. One of the SDU guys asked to meet up in May. I'm a bit scared lah....have never done this before. I have also not seen his looks, but think I can risk it lah.....at the most if not compatible, then 做做朋友啰, right? Hmm....wonder what I should wear?
