After I complained to my fickle friend (let's call her T) about the sucky meeting she attempted to arranged, she did not update me anymore, and I thought, ok lor, so maybe postponed or cancelled lah. However, the guy Wy smsed me on Friday afternoon (which I received only on Sat morning cos somehow, my phone had no reception for the entire Friday), asking when and where we were to meet, and that was when I became really pissed cos this meant my friend HAD CONVENIENTLY NEGLECTED TO INFORM HIM OF THE LATEST CHANGES TO THE MEETING!!! I could have killed her a second time.

I then sent an apologetic message to him saying T had some last minute urgent matters, and if he mind we postpone the gathering? Wy was very nice, and said its ok with him if I prefer to wait for T instead of going ahead with the meeting with him alone. What can I say...he's quite the gentleman!

So I agreed and we settled at that lah. I then went for my aerobics and pilates class in the afternoon, and surprise surprise, I received T's sms saying she's suddenly free and if we still wanna go ahead with the gathering. Somehow, I had expected this sort of last minute arrangement, but I was already feeling quite fed up and irritated. So, I politely rejected T's invitation....and it turned out I couldn't have been more right in doing so. 'Cos Wy agreed to join my friend in this last minute dinner date, so I guess they managed to go out together at the end, and even better, 少了我这个电灯泡啦!! 真是个一举两得，一箭双雕类!!
