Final arrangement
I then sent an apologetic message to him saying T had some last minute urgent matters, and if he mind we postpone the gathering? Wy was very nice, and said its ok with him if I prefer to wait for T instead of going ahead with the meeting with him alone. What can I say...he's quite the gentleman!
So I agreed and we settled at that lah. I then went for my aerobics and pilates class in the afternoon, and surprise surprise, I received T's sms saying she's suddenly free and if we still wanna go ahead with the gathering. Somehow, I had expected this sort of last minute arrangement, but I was already feeling quite fed up and irritated. So, I politely rejected T's invitation....and it turned out I couldn't have been more right in doing so. 'Cos Wy agreed to join my friend in this last minute dinner date, so I guess they managed to go out together at the end, and even better, 少了我这个电灯泡啦!! 真是个一举两得,一箭双雕类!!

There's a saying "Two's a company, Three's a crowd". Frankly speaking, it would have been awkward for you if you really went on a date with your pal and her 'target'. Guess this is a good ending for everyone. :)

Yup yup. Sigh....yar, my this friend of mine has this irritating habit of making last minute changes. But at the same time, she makes a GREAT travelling companion (went Turkey with her last year), cos she's really easy-going and chin chai. So I still count myself lucky to have this pal lah..=)
