GOSH….I COULD KILL MY FRIEND RIGHT NOW!!! She happily fixed this dinner and drinks appointment with this guy she quite like (let’s call him Wy) from the speed dating course we attended the other time, and NOW? She said she just had a ‘wonderful’ lunch with her boss, who perhaps tried to hold her back (she had recently submitted her resignation letter), so now, she said she may have to work late and so WON’T BE GOING TO THE DINNER DATE!!!!

How does this affect me in anyway, so you ask? Point is, I had agreed to accompany her on this date, so that it doesn’t seem so obvious that she’s trying to date him or anything like that lah. And now, she has the cheek to ask me to go ahead with the date? HAH? With Wy? Me? I DON’T EVEN LIKE HIM!!!! He’s quite old lah (which surprisingly was what attracted my friend cos she mentioned she likes mature guys), and as a friend, still ok. It very funny right? I suddenly feel like some 代替品, and I specifically told her that ‘IF YOU CANNOT FIND MORE PEOPLE (also from our speed dating course) TO ATTEND THIS APPOINTMENT, THEN I’M DEFINITELY NOT GOING LEH!!!!’

ARRGHHHHH!! Kena ‘DUA’ by my closest pal…….damn irritating! Spoiled my mood for the entire day liao!!

Got one lah....but it seems that according to my friend, he likes another girl in the same speed dating session. Haha...dunno how true that is lah...and anyway, I did not have any contact with him anymore after the session...

Well, just tell your friend that you will not go for the date. Why should you sacrifice your evening just because your friend can't make it. As you have said, you don't even like the guy. If the guy likes her, I am sure he will graciously accept the cancelled date.
