As trying as it gets
Luna Esa's current song recommendation: 石康军 - 火光
I spent the entire Saturday afternoon searching for a decent evening gown that could pass off as a pianist performance attire. Everything would have been much easier if I was given some money to purchase the attire, but no….constraints have it that the gown has to be made by the same tailor who did our uniforms (something to do with the contract and initial agreement). The earlier designs suggested by the tailor were so 惨不忍睹, that they were immediately rejected by me as soon as I set my eyes on them. Hence the only other way out was to put forward my own designs to the tailor.
Armed with my tiny Casio digicam, I resolved to try all the evening gowns there are in Orchard area and take their pictures and show it to the tailor without having to explain so much. But of course, I couldn’t just take photos of the gown so openly, as I’m sure the shop people would not have allowed it lah, so what to do…can only take them secretly in the fitting room. Hence, most of the photos ended up like this:

Yeah…..my face got blocked by the camera in every photo. But I hope the dress is still visible enough to the tailor.
But the fun part? I went to all the high-priced shops I could find and kept trying on the gowns they have there. For once, I could look at everything without having to consult the price tags, and just tried and tried and tried…….the highest priced item I fitted on that day was a $1200 gown at this posh Scotts shop (which looked like one where the TCS stars go to for their 红星大奖 outfit) . Wah….极 glam 以下hor? It was an EXTREMELY SEXY dress, with the back slitted so low…my back was almost bare. But you don’t have to wish….I did not take that photo…..too revealing….=P
