Luna Esa’s current Top Hit: 吴克群 – 吴克群

Yay! I just saw on TV that our local stations are bringing in 2 new TVB drama serials in April – 流金岁月and 黑夜彩虹. The former is some kind of a TVB 台庆 serial, cos it boasts a big stellar cast which includes Gallen Lo, Jessica Hsuan, Anne Heung, Deric Wan, Myolie Wu, Raymond Lam (with a terrible hairstyle), Michelle Yip, Tavia Yeung and many many more. 长话短说, this is a Gallen Lo vehicle, which features him being the unbelievably good guy, and the sacrifices he went through for the people around him. If you are a Gallen fan, like my mum and most obasans out there, this would be the show to catch! I watched this drama only because it had both Raymond and Michelle in it. But was greatly disappointed cos a) they were not even lovers in the show b) Raymond’s ‘eeks’ hairstyle c) Raymond is the baddie. And if you like Gallen’s voice, then you’ll love the show even more, cos he sang all of the theme songs in it. Hmmm….why can’t they have a Raymond vehicle? He can also sing well leh….


Actually, 黑夜彩虹 is the one I’m most excited about! Though I’ve also seen it before I definitely won’t mind watching it again! I just lurve seeing the fireworks happening between Lawrence Ng (吴启华) and Ada Choi. They are so funny together, and though Lawrence does not have the typical chiseled good looks, I just like him for his wholesome and honest charm. After seeing Ada and him together in the popular doctor show years ago, I had been waiting for TVB to feature them again. And I was definitely not disappointed! This show is a must-watch! Not to mention, Gigi Lai made her comeback in this serial, portraying what she’s best at, a 不择手段villainess who tried to steal Lawrence away from Ada. Ooops, did I just reveal too many spoilers? Anyway, this type of family drama, I’m sure most of you out there would have managed to guess the 剧情 anyway. I believe the best parts of any TVB drama are the acting skills and the 默契 between the 演员们. Agree?

P.S. I’ve finally finished setting up this new blog design and while it isn’t as impressive as the previous ones, I’ve put in some effort to design the new sidebar titles and added in the cute animated gifs. So you can see it’s not exactly very well done and also look quite lop-sided. But hey…its my first venture into blog design and I also think it will be my last! Its too much a time and effort consuming process….
