New Year Blues
Carousel tune: 飞向你飞向我 - 锦绣二重唱
New Year Blues....
The end of 2004 is rapidly approaching, and as with all previous years, it never fails to invoke this sudden empty feeling in me. Its hard to describe, but I'm sure all of us have experienced it at least once b4. Suddenly its like, a year has slipped past and this big big question starts popping up everywhere "WHAT THE HELL HAVE I ACCOMPLISHED THIS YEAR ????" It gets even scarier when you realised the answer is a miserable 'NOT MUCH!'. Hence, in order that I dun feel so guilty, I shall attempt to list the interesting experiences I had, or the memorable stuffs I did. Most of them would have occurred in the later part of the year, since I dun think my memory is that super to still recollect those events that occurred early 2004. Here goes (not in any chronological order):
1) Started volunteering at the Arts House
2) Blogging
3) Giving part of my umbrella shelter (it was raining) to a person who was waiting at the same traffic light as I was (and I didn't even know her! =D)
4) The guy of my dreams picking my shoe for me (hah!)
5) Going through the terrible debriefing session, which sucked, but which also gave me insights into what skills I lacked
6) My Turkey trip
7) Learning to say sorry more often
8) Choir trip to Brunei and performing as a pianist
9) Giving my first piano lessons
10) Coordinating the dance lessons for company's D&D
11) Picking up squash again
12) Enjoying the best (and cheapest!) massage in Thailand
13) Moving to a much bigger office room (with windows!)
14) Experiencing the massive blackout at home
So far, can only remember so much. Hopefully the same time next year, I can have a longer list! =D
