New look.....new beginning!!
Carousel tune: 茉莉花- 梁静茹
New look.....new beginning!!
Finally found a nice enough blog template to replace my original one. I still think the previous one is good, but changing it was unavoidable. Didn't want my one and only blog to get stagnant. Hopefully, this template change would also bring along with it, some exciting changes to my boring work and life. Dunno why, but things always get lazier during this last month of the year, as I start to become more lethargic and lifeless. Ok...think I'm talking rubbish again....
Anyway, hope all fellow bloggers like this new template! =D It reminds me of all the carousel rides I had whenever my parents bring my sister and I to the children's amusement centre at Parkway Parade. Actually, the carousel was not particularly my favourite......the one I liked most was the flying aeroplanes! Its extremely fun....you ride on the plane/car, and there's a lever where you can use to control how high you want to fly. It was one of the most exciting activities I enjoyed during childhood. And then later, they add on a mini Viking ship. And whenever me and my sis were riding on the carousel, or plane/car, we would search the crowd outside for our parents, and wave excitedly at their smiling faces!Aaah.....those good old days. And mind you, these are really precious memories, as it wasn't very often that we get to visit the amusement centre (cos those games not cheap lah). And the most interesting part was, before we go play in the centre, we would always patronise the prawn and pork rib noodle shop at a market near Parkway Parade for our dinner. Till now, I can still remember how tender the pork ribs were. =P After dinner, we would be off to the nearby Toys 'R' Us for some browsing and admiring b4 we proceed to the amusement centre. Alas.....I think all 3 places which I've just mentioned...the amusement centre, Toy'R'us (parkway) and the noodle shop are no longer there anymore. Guess they also couldn't withstand the times of change, just like my old blog template. =P
