无间道 trilogy

I finally managed to get my hands on all 3 movies, and watched them (for the first time) all at one shot during the weekend. Yar...I know I'm very backward....watching it only now. I never thought Chinese movies could be so thought-provoking....and I finally understood what the fuss was all about when Part I first came into the theatres. As what I always say, the first part of any trilogy/duo-logy (if there's such a word) or any series, is most certainly, always the best. Part II of the show was informative, giving viewers a understanding of the background of our 2 leads. Interestingly, Part III, which was said to have been filmed to help clear up all the loopholes and confusion in the 2 previous parts, succeeded in making me even more confused and blur! After Part III, all I could think of was to grab someone who had seen the movies and have a deep discussion with him/her. But so far, most of my friends/colleagues had already forgotten most of the details inside the shows. Hence, there's a LOT of questions hanging in my head.....for eg. Is Leon Lai a mole? If yes, from the triad or police? Was Carina Lau also a mole from the police? Why did Eric Tsang sabo Tony Leung so many times in Part III (like telling him to throw the ashtray at the Chinese guy)? Did Andy Lau really suffer from some disillusion b4 he tried to kill himself in Part III? What's the relationship between Leon and Eric Tsang?

But....the music in the trilogy is wonderful! Esp the opening song sung by Tsai Qin (when Tony and Andy were discussing amplifiers in the shop)....very very soothing voice and its so good, it gives me the creeps! And the part where Insp Wong (the officer Tony reports to) fell from the building and landed right in front of Tony, that scene was GOOD!!! As I say, Part I was the best! I'm even considering getting the soundtrack....heard most of the songs are quite up to standard. So glad that Asia do have something which people from other continents want to copy from......heard Hollywood is coming up with a ang mo version......

Anyone with any theories/answers to my questions above, pls do post them on my comments page. I'm dying to get some solid info!
