Catching up with my blog
Catching up with my blog
Hmmm....realised I have not been updating my blog for almost a week now...could be becos I've been extra busy at work the last few days....and/or that there hasn't been any really interesting events which occurred to me during the last couple of days (yeah...unhappening me). But there has been quite a lot happening in the papers....the news on Bush's victory, Huang Na xiao mei mei's tragic story, the violence in Thailand.....quite big events, I would say. However, I shan't elaborate on these, as I feel I wouldn't be able to comment on them as well as Cyclops, Teddy and Mydaemon. So for all those who wanna see what they wrote, do take a peep at their blogs (no, i mean more of a long browse) which you can reach by just clicking on the links on my blog. Enjoy reading!
Anyway, guess one of the more happy recent occurrence is that I finally am able to see snow soon!! YES......instead of Finland, I've booked a tour to Hokkaido and will be leaving here on the 8th Feb next year for my dream snowy holiday. And yep, if you find this date familiar, its da nian chu xi (CNY's eve). And yep, next year, I'm gonna do something I never thought I'll do.....BI NIAN!!! I know.....all of you gonna say..what about your hongbaos?? Well, I can only hope and pray this sis of mine remembers to help me collect my share during the holiday. But hongbaos have never been the reason why I always look forward to CNY. Its the tradition of the festival, the opportunities it gave me to meet up with all my relatives, and of course, the chance to show off my new outfits. heh heh. But as I went into my twenties, CNY came with the dreaded moments when all the elders would ask the question 'Where is your BF? You mean you are not attached? Look at cousin XXX....she's already having her second child!!' So xian man....never fail one, you know. So its with much glee, that this coming CNY, I would be able to escape all these and have a nice tour in one of my fav countries. I've never been to Hokkaido b4, and esp during this very cold time of the year. I only hope I will not fall sick during my tour....and I also just found out, one has to take precautions while taking pics in winter countries! There's so much to take note of....it nearly made me regret my tour. But I shan't....and anyway, I can't. Cos the tour has been confirmed, and I've already paid all the expenses. Hopefully, my year end bonus is sufficient for me to get some nice thick winter clothing. =)
ok.....gotta to stop. Promised my cousins I would meet them at 2.15pm to catch Sharks Tale. Frankly, I would much rather watch Cellular...seems more interesting. Sharks Tale looks like some weak attempt of Dreamworks to emulate Disney's Finding Nemo. But mabbe I gave my opinions too soon. Will watch it, then give my negative comments again. Stay tuned.
