Dun want to wait anymore
Dun want to wait anymore
Just last week, my friend was jio-ing me to go travelling again in Dec. Initially, I had refused straightaway....cos i usually limit myself to only one long trip per year (went to Turkey apr this year)....and most places would be freezing during Dec anyway. Didn't want to look like bak chang in my holiday photos. However, I was randomly surfing the net, and came across this travel agency website. Somehow, I wandered to their destination page, and their Finland itinerary got me slightly hooked! Going to Finland during the Christmas had always been like a 'must do' item in my life, but since most packages did not come cheap, I had wanted to save up more b4 I go. However, it seems like their prices have dropped a bit.....in the past, you have to spend at least $3K plus for a Finland package. However, I found one which was slightly below $3K and the duration of the tour was also not too long....i think it was a 8 days tour. I did some serious thinking, and realise I really shouldn't wait anymore.....it'll be another year if I wanna go during Christmas season...and who knows if I'll be able to make it then! So when I asked my fren if she was still interested, of course she was ecstatic! Never see her reply my emails so fast b4. So I called the agency, and it seems there's only 5 places left!!! But i couldn't book now, as my fren's still in HK for her work, and she gotta confirm with her boss if she can take leave during Dec. Really hope she can get back to me fast.....but I'm also slightly worried about the weather there...according to reports, it could be as cold as minus 15 degrees in Dec....think I'll look like a super sized dumpling then. On the other hand....I GET TO SEE SNOW!!!! That's definitely a first time for me....SO EXCITING!!! Can also try skiing there....and see live reindeers!! Makes me look forward to Christmas for the first time in my life.....=)
