Office changes

On a lighter note, much has been happening in my office the past few days. I've been getting more work, which is good, and hence I'm starting to feel that I'm also an important entity in my office. heh heh. Its not that my boss doesn't give me a chance, but somehow, I always feel she tends to delegate those important work stuffs to my more senior colleagues. I know it could be becos she trusts their work efficiency more (which is understandable), but I had always hope she would just give me the opportunity to try and learn more, and in the process, hopefully get better in what I do. Anyway, perhaps of the fact that one of my colleagues is getting a transfer, so my boss thought its time for me to take on a more important role in the division. I really hope I am able to take on these tasks, and meet up to her expectations. It feels good when you know your abilites are being appreciated by your boss and fellow colleagues.

Even better, I also got the nod from my boss to take over my colleague's room when she leaves. Wow! Her room has one of the best views and is also the biggest (even bigger than the boss's..heh heh). As compared to my current room, which doesn't even have a window, this is paradise!!! I'm practically floating on clouds already!!! But of course, I also feel sad that this colleague is leaving lah. Cos she's a really good colleague-cum-friend, always helping me out and ready to listen to my problems (both work and personal), and she was also my work buddy when I first joined the company.
