Lethargy settling in

Lethargy settling in....

Haven't been blogging for nearly a week liao....feel a bit guilty..heh heh. Lots of stuffs happened in the past few days, both good and bad. But dunno why, all of them made me feel so tired. I overslept for the past 2 days, and was very nearly late for work twice in a row...

Saturday. I went for KTV in the morning and caught 13 going on 30 in the afternoon. I was quite surprised that I actually found the show enjoyable! Haven't watched a romantic comedy for so long...thought this one was pretty good. Liked the songs in it, and the guy who acted as 'Matt' in the show. Wow, Jennifer Garner's biceps really looked huge.....quite unfeminine, I thought. Mabbe its just sour grapes.....=P. On the way, I also caught the trailer for the much awaited 'The Terminal'. They had the song 'Leaving on a jet plane' in it, and it was one of my fav! Really loved the song melody...but I just couldn't find an instrumental version of it! I heard John Denver wrote it becos he felt tired of always being on the road and performing and not being able to spend more time with his loved ones. Good lyrics!

After the show, we went to B Boss for dinner (opp Istana). Hmm...seems like the recent developments in PS have resulted in the dwindling business of the restaurant. Usually, I would find it packed, both inside and outside, on a weekend evening. However, it was pretty empty on the Saturday evening we were there. But opposite, you can see lots of crowds at PS, people shopping and having their dinners, while at B Boss, its all so quiet.....business is really hard to do these days!

Sunday. Volunteered for a company event in the afternoon. My job was mainly to give away free stuffs, like post it pads and stress balls, to the people passing by and help promote the charity event we are holding. At first, we all thought this would be a relatively easy job, since no one like anything better than free gifts on a Sunday! But weow.....we were in for a shock! I had quite a hard time giving away the post it pads...cos everyone thought I wanted to sell them something when I offered them the note pads! I had to reiterate" ITS FREE!!!" many many times, b4 they dared to accept the note pads! So weird! I wonder if I'll feel the same if I was the one being approached! And the feeling of being rejected was indeed quite daunting at first! I was like thinking....'what did I get myself into now??' But perservered on lah...cannot give up halfway mah. Fortunately, the stress balls were much much more popular with the public, esp the kids! We managed to 'get rid' of it quite speedily, and even had time to go shopping....heh heh...old habits die hard lah!

Then entire event ended around 10 plus, but I only stayed till nine. Was too tired to carry on, and really slept like a log that night. Never had such a easy time falling asleep on a Sunday night b4!
