Getting married!!!
Getting married!!!
No...not me (I wish!)....but Ronald and Li Jia Wei!!!! Heard it on the radio just now......wow...seems like Ronald proposed in the car when he drove Jia Wei back from the airport. Thought this was really FAST!! And Jiawei is just 23...don't think I can imagine being married at that age! But then again, I guess age doesn't really matter lah...as long as you know your partner well enough....
Me and my fellow dancers had our first dance practice with our choreographer yesterday.....it went quite ok. except that i found certain moves a bit too sexy lah....veri hard for me to go through it without giggling....hee hee hee. At first, the instructor was suggesting for us to do some kind of gimmicks in the middle of the dance (to make it more interesting).....something like...while dancing halfway, the music will change, and we could act some skit, such as the William Hung audition (where someone will act as William, while 3 others as the judges). According to the choreographer, this would definitely get the audience laughing....and bring some element of surprise in our item. I personally did not like this idea, as firstly, I suck big time in acting..and 2nd, I was worried that if we did not make it funny enough, the audience may not find it amusing at all! But of course, I wouldn't mind if the other members of my dance group does it lah. The best part was, most of the dancers liked the idea, but no one wanted to do it! Haiyah....then might as well cancel the gimmicks, I say. The choreographer was quite surprised to see us being so unsporting....heh heh...but so paiseh leh!! Anyway, she agreed to think of something else not so drama one....so phew!
Our choir have started learning Christmas carols already, in preparation for a possible carolling concert at the end of the year. Most of the carols I've sung b4, as i performed them at the esplanade lobby during last year's christmas season. Although we sing almost the same carols every year, but singing them never fails to give me a really nice and homey feeling! They always sound so festive and happy! But its after singing them in a choir, that I realised its not that easy to sing them well! It still pretty important to take note of all the small details (like the tempo, dynamics, etc etc), and since almost everyone is familiar with them....hence if we sing it wrongly, the audience will definitely be able to pick that out. So christmas carolling is also yi men xue wen after all!
