Soothing Monday

Had quite a peaceful and good weekend. Last Sat, celebrated the birthday of one of cousins, and got together for a BBQ near my place. We gave her quite a cool present too...it was a custom-made personalised signboard, and we added her name and birth date to make it look like a carplate. She was impressed, and so were we. (heh heh!) Didn't come cheap though, but worth every cent. Cos nowadays, its really not easy to find personalised birthday gifts that are both unique and nice. And though I did have some difficulties controlling myself during the BBQ (had to stop myself from taking too many sausages =)), it was still relatively bearable. Basically, it was a good event, where we had the opportunity to catch up and talk and talk and talk. Plus, it had been a very cool season these few days, so the weather was good and breezy.

Was also very guai yesterday. Did not sleep in the afternoon, and managed to break the cycle for once. Instead, i went shopping for furniture with two of my cousins at IKEA. Though I wasn't the one doing the buying, it was still fun looking around and thinking of the things I would buy if I ever needed to refurnish my room. The showrooms at IKEA just have the ability to make people wanna buy their stuffs...they are always arranged so prettily! At the end, my cousins managed to eye one wardrobe and a chest of drawers.

Oops...looks late! Gotta go now, if not will be late for my choir session. Will finish this blog tmr, if possible.........
