Soothing Mon
Soothing Monday (Part II)
Last Sun, I heard the news that Alex To was in town to promote his new Mandarin album. Alex used to be one of the singers I quite liked, cos I always felt he has this very manly charisma and can REALLY DANCE!!! In addition, his songs are quite soothing and catchy, and plus, his English at least, doesn't make me cringe! However, it seemed that in the last few years, he dabbled more in TV dramas and less in the music area, hence his new album is something quite long due (I felt).
One of the zhu da ge in this new album is called 'Tuo Diao', as in take off. And in the song, he kept singing something about taking off his clothes (shirt, pants, etc etc). Very fast and catchy number! I also heard in the MTV, he really takes off nearly everything!! Wow! That would be something I gotta see! Anyway, he was at PS doing the promotion, and I heard from my cousin that they have quite an interesting promotion tactic during the event. If you take off your top, you get to buy the CD at half price. If you dare to take off all (for guys, still leaving swimming trunks lah, and for gals, still leave bikinis), you get the CD FREE!!! Heh heh...I can imagine the entire PS would be flooded with all those chi ko pek uncles......but on the other hand, I wouldn't mind viewing this spectacle either.....=P.
Oh yes, bet you haven't figure out why I titled this blog as 'soothing Mon'....actually its becos yesterday was quite a stormy day...it kept raining and the weather was cold!! But I liked it...it somehow kind of made me feel calm and serene (and sleepy too lah). But today.....its back to Singapore-style bright and sunny day! Hmmm....mabbe I can hope for a rainy afternoon instead??
