Spidey in my living room

Spidey in my living room...

The volunteering went ok yesterday, except that I left halfway through the play. It was really cheem (profound) stuff, and mixed with Malay snippets here and there. Couldn't really figure out what was going on, and the scenes kept changing every now and then too. Plus, with the room being unbearably freezing (due also to the weird weather acting up outside), there was definitely no incentive to stay on (and anyway, volunteers were not required to remain throughout the show...) I left the place, thinking I could perhaps head home right away for a early nightcap.

However, AS USUAL, couldn't resist the temptation of the shopping mall, especially when it seemed to be enticing me with all the flashy displays of desirable goods. Changing track, I then embarked on a journey of window shopping, even when it was clear that most of the shops were going to close in a few minutes time. Had wanted to get a pair of sandals, but ended up buying the Spider-Man 1 DVD from the CD shop (which was one of the few still blaring loud music and filled with busy shoppers). Clutching my prized possession, I went home and watched the entire movie, which ended around 0115am. Still love it, love it, and LOVE IT!!! If there was enough time, I would have explored the DVD even further, as it came with many additional goodies such as commentaries by the actors (Tobey Maguire..Yay!) and actresses, and the Making of the show, among others. Great stuff, and definitely value for $$$. Definitely dun understand why people nowadays still go for those pirated stuffs anyway...lousy quality, and plus, you are DEFINITELY NOT supporting your fav actress/ actor/ singer/ performer at all. But sad to say, I'm still not able to convince some of my frens of this point...
