Sleepy mode
 
Feeling rather tired and sleepy now, as worked till past midnight yesterday. Nearly wanted to take a half day leave, but felt I should put my leave to much better use. Hmmm...my eyes even feel like closing now, as I'm writing this blog entry....
 
Last weekend was fun and busy. Went shopping for presents (again!), but this time, its for my cousin. I have a very closely-knitted group of cousins, consisting of 9, and we practically grew up together (we even gave ourselves a club name). I'm the eldest, and the youngest is around 19 already. When we were kids, our parents used to bring us to our grandparents' place every sunday, and we would play all sorts of stupid and childish games. Actually, on my mother's side alone, I have around 21 cousins, but we sort of have cliques among these 21, as we are all of varying ages (I already have quite a number of nephews and nieces). I belong to this group of 9, cos our ages are around the same, and we also happen to live near to one another. Anyway, just last sat, I went out with around 5 of them, just to shop for ONE present...heh heh.....guess we just wanted a reason to get together and catch up with one another. I can tell you, if you think I'm loud, my 8 cousins are even more terrible than me (esp when they start to laugh). Hence, whenever we chat at any restaurant, we really create a big big ruckus....quite malu at times. But it gives me a really nice warm feeling whenever I'm with them, cos I feel so comfortable and uninhibited with them. I don't have to watch my actions or words, and we know each other so well! Sometimes, I would let my imagination run wild and wonder what its like if we could all stay together (as in reside together), juz like Friends! THAT would be so cool! We could go out for coffee, or a movie, or just gather at someone's place to watch TV! But, this is not U.S., and my parents would probably think I'm nuts anyway.....but its a nice dream...=)
