Great Fun!!

Had a great afternoon just now, performing for our company (our small acappella group, that is..). I must really say that I'm so proud of all my fellow performing mates!! We only had 4 sessions to learn and master our songs, and yet..we did it!! After this, we really believe that nothing is really impossible, as long as we are all united in our passion and interest in music!!! We sang a Mandarin number, plus two familiar hits, Lion Sleeps Tonight and Old Macdonald had a farm!! The last one was the most most FUN!!! Halfway through the song, we were all mimicking the animals in the farm...oink oink, chick chick, quack quack!!! For me, the most memorable part was the 4 sessions we went through practising...we had so much laughs and at the same time, we experienced frustration together, especially at certain parts of the pieces where we just couldn't get the notes!! It was during these 4 sessions that I could really feel the strong bonds forming within the group! Just hope that I would get even more opportunities to sing with this great batch of people!! Oh yes, we were even thinking of giving our group a name...and we joked maybe we could call ourselves the Encorers...so that our audience would keep calling us for encores...haha...SO CHEESY!!
