Friday Night
Friday Night
Spent the entire evening and night immersing myself in soppy romantic novels..tis the season to feel love again!!! =) I usually go through many different kinds of reading moods throughout the year...there was a time I went crazy over suspense novels, and I'll read nothing else but juz that. And sometimes, it would be Chinese books, or local publications, and I even once went through several months reading nothing but beauty and fashion magazines. But the romantic period is still my fav!! I can read and re-read (and re-read) all the romance books and still not get tired of them...Judith Mcnaught is still the BESTest!!
Also watched the first episode of 'Durian King' on Channel i yesterday, and I must say I'm quite impressed! There's lots of local flavour in the drama, and yet so very very FUNNIE!!! REALLY!!! I had earlier read a favourable critic comment on the newspaper regarding the show, but you know, critics can be extremely subjective (esp when the tv channel happened to be owned by the newspaper agency...you really have to prepare yourself for some bias and extreme reporting on the programmes). But I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome and for once, i do agree with the critics! Adrian Pang is fantastic as the 'rich bastard (a term he calls himself in the show)' and Kym Ng, well what can I say, I've never seen a more real and singlish Ah Lian! Please please...go watch the drama! I actually enjoyed it as much as I did when I catch my weekly dose of Friends! Yes! Its THAT GOOD!!
