Aching body
Aching body
Had a change of fitness instructor yesterday, and boy, is she a mean one!!! Everything that we did had to be accompanied by either countless squats or lunges...she said she likes to get us to do compound exercises...loosely translated as working more than one group of muscles at one time. I had thought my previous instructor was tough, but on comparison, this one is even tougher!! But fortunately, she's real nice and always urges us to persist when anyone in the class displays signs of giving up (e.g. me lah!). I had thought I could upgrade to using slightly heavier handweights for my previous instructor's classes....but seems like with this change of instructor, I'm back to using the lighter weights, cos I really couldn't take the countless repetitions she made us do yesterday. But looking on the bright side, maybe I can look forward to developing leaner muscles and less bulging flesh on the arms and tummy....hmmm...mabbe I can even start being less strict on my diet (given the tougher workout!)...I really have not tasted choc or ice-cream for ages and ages!!! Its really agonising!
Btw, have not seen my bus-stop guy for ever so long already... think its like since the day the 'shoe-dropped event' occurred. Hmmm...can't be that he's AVOIDING ME???? *gasp in horror!!*
