Xianzzzz
Xianzzzz
Did not take the bus today...couldn't bring myself to face my DG (Dxxxx Gxx). IT actually rained this morning, and that is really such a welcome change in weather, esp after yesterday's scorching heat (and my eyes were already squinted to the max when I went out for lunch).
Have been bugged again by the D&D committee Head about the performance which I am supposed to be in charge of. THAT is really something i dread doing, and something which I had agreed to do it only bcos the committee Head came close to begging me to take on the task. He said he wanted something which, in his own words, would 'showcase our company's talents'. However, in reality, I suspect he actually only wanted just someone (and that would be PREFERABLY be MOI!) to get 'arrowed' to perform. But just bcos I am in the choir, doesn't mean I would want to perform some mushy or sleazy number during our D&D. I had to repeatedly stress that I DUN DO SOLO!!!!
And I've got this extremely irritating admin officer (who's also incidentally in the committee), who keeps giving me suggestive glances whenever we talk about the performance, as if saying that I should just take on the performing role, and not pull other people into this difficult task. She's gotta be MAD MAD!!!
